For some reason, our conversation went from business to personal in a flash.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I didn\u2019t tell her I was a relationship coach, but I <em>did<\/em> tell her I \u201chad a reputation for solving love problems quickly.\u201d And when she asked for a story, I told her this Monomyth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cSo, I have a background in applied psychology, so I know how people tick. My new business friend warmed up to me instantly. We spent the rest of the day\u2014and night\u2014together. And throughout the wonderful 3-month relationship that followed, we discussed no business. Only pleasure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That, my friend, is the power of a good Monomyth. Find true stories in your life that highlight your most attractive traits.
