I was at Trader Joe’s to pick up a bottle of Wild Turkey when I saw her at the cheese section. Keen to brush up my pickup skills, I swaggered down the aisle and delivered my killer line:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Hello, Ariana. I’m Derek Rake.<\/a>“<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I wasn’t that surprised when she said she knew me. We hit it off immediately, and within two minutes she was teasing me like she had known me forever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Suddenly, she turned serious and said, “I’ve got this thing about men I can’t quite figure out. Perhaps you can help me.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then, she paused and asked with a coy smile on her face.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Can I see you this Sunday?”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was going to see Angela, Alicia and Annabella on Sunday, but guess what? I cancelled them all. I mean, it’s fucking Ariana Grande<\/em> we’re talking about here, man. I’d cancel on my grandma’s funeral just to date her!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Okay, so I totally made the story up. But there’s an important lesson behind that story, and we’ll come to that soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

How To Know If A Girl Fancies You: The Ultimate Test<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You see, guys ask me all the time,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Derek, how do I know if a girl likes me?”<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Simple question, right? The answer is not that simple, though, because of two reasons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. You can’t ask the girl directly because it’ll make you sound needy and desperate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. It’s natural for a girl to play mind games<\/a> and it’s likely that she’ll keep you guessing just for the heck of it.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    So, what do you do if you want to know if a girl likes you? Well, here’s what:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Ask her out. If she likes you, she will make the date happen, no matter what.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Imagine if you bump into a sexy Hollywood star at a random store somewhere, and she wants to hang out with you. You’ll 100% make it happen even if it meant cancelling your other plans, right?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    I call this the ARIANA GRANDE<\/em> principle. If Ariana Grande asks me for a date, I’ll make it happen, by hook, or by crook. Even if I have to flake on the three other girls I’ve been seeing… I’ll do it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Here’s the thing about girls you must understand. If a girl likes you, she’ll bend over backwards for you<\/span>. She’ll do anything to see you… even if it meant cancelling her other plans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Guess what? There’s none. That’s right. None<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n

    To understand why, let’s understand how a girl thinks. When a girl meets a guy, something automatic happens inside her mind. Subconsciously, she puts a score on him based on the time she spent with him. In Shogun Method, we call this the Perceived Value, or the P.V. score.     Here’s how the P.V. works. Your score must be above a certain level to keep her interested in you.     So, how do you get a high P.V. score then?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    How To Score High On The Desirability Scale<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    OK, so here’s how to score a high P.V.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    You must nail your initial interaction with her.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    If she had a good time with you, she will want to see you again. When your P.V. score is above her threshold, all you need to do is to text her to arrange a date. You won’t need any texting tricks<\/a> to get her out. The thought of seeing you should be enough to excite her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    And heck, if you have an off-the-chart P.V. score, you won’t even need to ask. Play your cards right and let her come to you… it’s that easy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
