If you keep trying to make her happy, you make\n     yourself look weaker and less dominant&#8230; and therefore less attractive.<\/li><li>And secondly, it doesn\u2019t work because you\u2019re basically\n     incentivizing her bad behavior. If she really is cheating, then she gets\n     what she wants from the other guy&#8230; and then she comes home to a\n     subservient, ass-kissing husband.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>So if you suspect your wife is cheating on you&#8230; \u201cnot doing anything\u201d or\n\u201cjust making her happy\u201d won\u2019t solve the problem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In fact, it just makes the problem worse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, for the second wrong way to catch a cheating wife&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The second WRONG way is to confront her about it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, why would it be wrong to confront your wife with your suspicions?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Simple &#8212; because it puts you at a disadvantage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>First of all, she can lie to protect her reputation. What do you think happened last night?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If she gives a similar answer or tries to avoid the question&#8230; then you\nhave reason to believe she\u2019s hiding something.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Either way, you then move on to Phase 2 of the Truth Triad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This time, you tell her a plausible story about a friend of yours. You can\nsay:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cForced overtime always reminds me of my friend Charlie. His wife kept working\novertime every Saturday night. Turns out she had been cheating with her boss\nevery weekend. Charlie found out, of course, and now they\u2019ve broken up.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Again, if she\u2019s innocent or a good liar, she might ask for more details\nabout \u201cCharlie\u201d and his wife.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But if she\u2019s cheating on you, she\u2019ll either react with silence, nervousness,\nor another defensive answer&#8230; like \u201cWhat are you implying?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Either way, you need to move on to Phase 3&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8230;and that\u2019s when you make a statement about cheating and how much you hate\nit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For example, you can say:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cCrazy, huh? It\u2019s crazy how people can cheat behind your back and expect\ntheir partners to never find out about it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If she\u2019s completely innocent, then she\u2019ll innocently agree with your\nstatement&#8230; and even engage you in conversation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But even an experienced liar will crumble after a three-hit combo like the\nTruth Triad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If your wife is cheating on you, the Truth Triad will make her think you\nknow about her misdeeds&#8230; but she can\u2019t be totally sure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She\u2019ll go crazy with anxiety&#8230; and her erratic behavior will tell you your\nsuspicions are correct.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She might even confess right then and there. She might tell you: \u201cIt\u2019ll\nnever happen again.
