Some say he\u2019s \u201cjust another pickup guru.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Others say his school of dating, Shogun\nMethod, is \u201cjust like any other pickup or seduction program.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And still others claim he has a \u201cpersecution\ncomplex,\u201d whatever that means.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So what\u2019s the real deal? Who IS Derek\nRake, and what IS he all about?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This video will reveal the real Derek\nRake as I, Fredo Hill, know him. He\u2019s the founder and head instructor of the Shogun\nMethod school of attraction advice for men. And instead of teaching his\nstudents pickup techniques, he teaches something more basic, scientific, and\nprovable. And that\u2019s MIND CONTROL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, one of the most common claims\nabout Derek Rake out there is that he\u2019s \u201cjust another pickup guru.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And claims like that are not really\nsurprising, right? Modern society as a whole tends to have a negative bias\ntowards dating coaches in general. It\u2019s true\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here\u2019s the kicker, however. To claim\nDerek Rake is a \u201cpickup guru\u201d is not exactly accurate for the two reasons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>First, he doesn\u2019t teach\n\u201cpickup artist\u201d stuff. In fact, he hates it \u2013 if you check his website at\nDerekRake.com, you\u2019ll quickly get an idea how rabidly \u201cAnti-Pickup\u201d he is.<\/li><li>And second, he\u2019s not a\n\u201cguru.\u201d He\u2019s not out to dominate the dating industry or anything like that. In\nfact, he ends up telling most potential clients to stay away from Shogun\nMethod.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Why?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Because when you know what Shogun\nMethod is all about, it\u2019s easy to see why.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So what IS Shogun Method, anyway?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Likewise, if you Google Shogun Method,\nyou\u2019ll notice the common criticism is along the lines of \u201cIt\u2019s just like any\nother seduction program.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Again, such claims are normal, given\nthe bias society has against dating coaches and their work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But here\u2019s the thing. Derek himself once\ntold me: \u201cWell, Fredo, if Shogun Method WAS based on pickup, they\u2019d be right.\n95% of all pickup programs out there are just as good as snake oil. That\u2019s why\nI avoid pickup like the plague.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Derek keeps telling me how he hates\n\u201cpickup culture.\u201d Now, he DID say not ALL of pickup was bad. He admitted that\nthe original dating coaches \u2013 the ones who started the whole thing by applying psychological\nprinciples to the dating scene \u2013 were trustworthy and should be emulated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s just that over the last two\ndecades, countless \u201cpickup artists\u201d have taken the work of the masters and\ntwisted them beyond recognition. Your fights get fewer and far between. You\u2019ll treat each other the\nway you did when you were <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAddiction is the secret. It\u2019s the\ninconvenient truth. People can disbelieve it or misrepresent it as much as they\nwant. But it works, and it\u2019s provable, and that\u2019s all that matters to us.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That\u2019s what Derek told me.
