Shouldn\u2019t I only do that when she does something I don\u2019t like?\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The answer: <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>No<\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>Remember: the goal here is <em>NOT <\/em>to \u201cencourage good behavior and discourage bad behavior.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>The goal here is to MAKE HER INVEST IN YOU.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>The goal is to make her work harder and harder to please you.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>And nothing does that better than when:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>She does something that pleases you, and you reward her with something that makes her happy. (Sex, affection, money, conversation, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Later, she does something ELSE that pleases you&#8230; but you give her a negative emotion for it. For instance, you can tell her she did it wrong, or you belittle her effort.<\/li>\n<li>As a result, you keep her guessing. She wonders what the hell she did wrong. She tries again, and then THIS time you reward her.<\/li>\n<li>Later, give her another negative emotion, making her work even harder to please you.<\/li>\n<li>She tries even harder, and then this time you reward her again&#8230;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>See the pattern?<\/p>\n<p>You\u2019re <em>unpredictable<\/em>. You keep her guessing. You keep her investing in you.<\/p>\n<p>And each time you reward her, she feels <strong>DOUBLE <\/strong>the satisfaction.<\/p>\n<p>On and on until pleasing you becomes an <strong>ADDICTION <\/strong>for her.<\/p>\n<p>And when that happens, congratulations, my friend \u2013 you\u2019ve Enslaved her.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>&#8220;But Derek, this sounds&#8230; manipulative.&#8221;<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Now, you might look at the whole Enslavement thing and think: <em>\u201cThis stuff is manipulative.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Is it?<\/p>\n<p>Sure.<\/p>\n<p>But think about it \u2013 she\u2019s been manipulating YOU for a while now. And she\u2019s been doing it just to <em>spite <\/em>you.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>YOU are manipulating her to save your relationship and give her a shot at true happiness.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Which situation is nobler?<\/p>\n<p>Yup. Yours.<\/p>\n<p>So, flip the script. Reverse the roles.
