I met one such guy, Mark, during a Shogun Method meetup not too long ago.<\/p>\n

We were in a group coaching session with other single men. They were all nice guys who wanted to start long-term relationships. (Or, they were not out to “pick up” women.)<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve basically had a crush on her since we were kids,\u201d Mark told us about Jessica, the object of his affections.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe currently has a boyfriend, who\u2019s a real jerk. But I still see her from time to time, and I know I\u2019ll be so much better for her than he\u2019ll ever be.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cOkay,\u201d I said. \u201cSo you want to become Jessica\u2019s boyfriend in the future. What are you doing now to achieve that outcome?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cNothing,\u201d Mark shrugged. \u201cI\u2019m waiting my turn.”<\/p>\n

I gave him a puzzled look.<\/p>\n

“I\u2019ll wait until she breaks up with him.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

“Waiting My Turn” Is Not Viable Strategy<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\u201cOK. But what if she DOESN\u2019T break up with him?\u201d I asked.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cWell, I…\u201d Mark trailed off.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat if she ends up marrying the bastard and starts a family with him?\u201d I pressed.<\/p>\n

At that, Mark \u2013 and all the other guys in the group \u2013 stared at me in shock and surprise.<\/p>\n

A chorus of shocked and amused banter followed.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s crazy!\u201d Mark laughed. \u201cThat\u2019s MORE than crazy!\u201d<\/p>\n

I smiled.<\/p>\n

\u201cSure, Mark. But what\u2019s crazier: Jessica leaving her jerk boyfriend for you? Or Jessica spending the rest of her life with an insufferable douchebag?\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

At that, everyone quieted down.<\/p>\n

\u201cI suppose she\u2019d be crazy to settle for him,\u201d Mark admitted. \u201cBut isn\u2019t stealing someone else\u2019s woman… I dunno… WRONG<\/em>?\u201d<\/p>\n

Can You Truly “Own” A Woman?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Most guys today accepts the idea of \u201cownership\u201d<\/strong> when it comes to women.<\/p>\n

Here’s what that means:<\/p>\n

The idea is that if one man \u201cowns\u201d a woman, then she\u2019s off-limits<\/em> to other men.<\/p>\n

Some guys think that \u201cownership\u201d comes with marriage. If she\u2019s married, she\u2019s off-limits.<\/p>\n

Other guys think \u201cownership\u201d comes with being taken \u2013 meaning if she has a boyfriend, she\u2019s off-limits.<\/p>\n

And still other guys think \u201cownership\u201d comes with calling dibs<\/em>.<\/p>\n

For example, if one of your buddies tells you he has a crush on this woman, he has called \u201cdibs\u201d on her. And so… she\u2019s off-limits.<\/p>\n

Women Are Not Property<\/strong><\/h3>\n

What about you? At what point do you believe a man \u201cowns\u201d a woman?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Here\u2019s the thing…<\/p>\n

…it\u2019s all bullshit.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Seriously. \u201cOwnership?\u201d<\/p>\n

People can\u2019t \u201cown\u201d other people. People aren\u2019t property<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Do you know what the literal definition of owning people is?<\/p>\n

Slavery.<\/strong><\/p>\n

That\u2019s why the idea of \u201cowning\u201d a woman is total bullshit.<\/p>\n

But, it really depends on what you <\/em>believe.<\/p>\n

Personally, I believe a woman is only off-limits when these two conditions are met:<\/p>\n

  1. She\u2019s happily married, and<\/li>\n
  2. Getting involved in her life would only affect her life NEGATIVELY<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    So, here’s the deal…<\/p>\n

    If she\u2019s NOT happily married to the guy…<\/p>\n

    …and if she\u2019s NOT completely happy and satisfied with him…<\/p>\n

    …and you\u2019re sure that she\u2019ll be SO MUCH HAPPIER if you were her boyfriend…<\/p>\n

    …then it\u2019s game on.<\/p>\n

    Why You Must Get Her To Leave Her Boyfriend For You<\/h2>\n

    Back to Mark for a moment.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

    As I was explaining all this to the group, he raised his hand and asked:<\/p>\n

    \u201cBut shouldn\u2019t I wait my turn, first?\u201d<\/p>\n

    My answer: \u201cWhy? Is it a race? First to get her wins her?\u201d<\/p>\n

    The answer is, of course, \u201cNo.\u201d And it\u2019s all for the following reasons:<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. She won\u2019t pick the “fastest” guy \u2013 she\u2019ll pick the BEST<\/span> <\/strong>guy.<\/li>\n
    2. Good women are almost never single. If you wait your turn, you\u2019ll be waiting forever (important!)<\/li>\n
    3. If you want her, you gotta be willing to fight for her. If you\u2019re not, you\u2019ve already lost<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      And here\u2019s the kicker:<\/p>\n

      Just because she\u2019s taken doesn\u2019t mean her current boyfriend is her \u201cMr. Right.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

      He\u2019s not.<\/p>\n

      He\u2019s just \u201cMr. Right Now.\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

      He\u2019s just the best guy in her life AT THE MOMENT.<\/p>\n

      But YOU can do so much better. Am I correct?<\/p>\n

      Consider the outcomes if she left her current boyfriend for you:<\/p>\n

        \n
      1. You win the woman of your dreams. You\u2019re happy.<\/li>\n
      2. She ends up with an even better guy \u2013 you. She\u2019s HAPPIER.<\/li>\n
      3. The other guy will be fine. We\u2019re guys. We\u2019re used to rejection. (If he’s a wimp then it’s not your problem.)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        In fact, stealing her makes the world a better place.<\/strong><\/p>\n

        So there\u2019s no real reason NOT to steal her. Right?<\/p>\n

        Of course, ultimately, it\u2019s your call.<\/p>\n

        How Mark Stole Jessica From Her Boyfriend<\/strong><\/h2>\n

        I taught Mark a technique called \u201cThe Prophesy.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

        And here\u2019s how Mark used it to steal Jessica from her boyfriend…<\/p>\n

        First, Mark set up a coffee date with Jessica. He was lucky because they had already been seeing each other occasionally. A chat over coffee was harmless and familiar enough for her to say \u201cyes.\u201d<\/p>\n

        During their coffee date, Mark waited until Jessica mentioned her boyfriend. When she brought up one of her boyfriend\u2019s annoying habits, Mark put his plan into action.<\/p>\n

        Step #1: He Used Some Reverse Psychology On Jessica.<\/strong><\/h3>\n

        \u201cWe were going to watch a movie last week,\u201d Jessica said. \u201cI was already at the cinema waiting when he arrived… with ANOTHER woman. Could you believe that?\u201d<\/p>\n

        \u201cWow,\u201d Mark said. \u201cThat\u2019s crazy. Who was it?\u201d<\/p>\n

        \u201cI forgot her name,\u201d Jessica said, \u201cBut he said it shouldn\u2019t bother me because she was like a little sister to him. Pssh. Yeah, right.\u201d<\/p>\n

        \u201cWhat an ass,\u201d Mark agreed. \u201cI\u2019m surprised you still put up with him.\u201d<\/p>\n

        \u201cWell,\u201d Jessica started, \u201che\u2019s my boyfriend, and I should trust him.\u201d<\/p>\n

        Mark then used reverse-psychology on Jessica. He sighed and said, \u201cWell, that\u2019s totally your choice. You\u2019re free to hook up with anyone you want. Even if it\u2019s an insensitive douche <\/em>like him.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

        This made Jessica think she was making a mistake by hooking up with an \u201cinsensitive douche.\u201d<\/p>\n

        Then Mark continued…<\/p>\n

        Step #2: He Set Higher Expectations For Her.<\/strong><\/h3>\n

        \u201cYou gotta admit though,\u201d Mark said. \u201cHe\u2019s not exactly the \u2018husband type.\u2019 I remember you saying so when you first told me about him. That\u2019s why I\u2019m surprised why you still put up with him.\u201d<\/p>\n

        Jessica thought for a moment. \u201cYeah, you\u2019re right,\u201d she said. \u201cMaybe I\u2019m settling. I\u2019m so dumb.\u201d<\/p>\n

        Step #3: He Made The “Prophesy”.<\/strong><\/h3>\n

        \u201cAgain, it\u2019s your life, so who am I to speak,\u201d Mark continued. \u201cBut, if you stayed with him…”<\/p>\n

        Jessica listened intently to what Mark had to say.<\/p>\n

        “…I think you\u2019ll be setting yourself up for a lifetime of pain, disappointment, and lots of his \u2018little sisters.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

        Here, Mark created a win-win situation for himself:<\/p>\n

          \n
        1. If Jessica agreed with him and broke up with her boyfriend, he won.<\/li>\n
        2. If Jessica DIDN\u2019T agree with him, she\u2019d go back to her boyfriend. But sooner or later, she\u2019ll realize Mark was right. THEN she\u2019d break up with her boyfriend. Mark still wins.<\/li>\n
        3. What if Jessica DIDN\u2019T agree with him and DIDN\u2019T break up with her boyfriend? Well, Mark still wins because he\u2019s no worse off than before.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          Awesome, right?<\/p>\n

          That did the trick for Mark. Jessica eventually broke up with her idiot boyfriend.<\/p>\n

          And later, Jessica fell in love with Mark… and today, they\u2019re one of the happiest couples I personally know.<\/p>\n
